Children can be seen as gifts to those who want or like them. They do not come from God unless God sleeps with you and gets you pregnant. Beating? No. Spanking? Yes. There is nothing wrong with a swat on the butt for a wrongdoing.

Yes that is absolutely true that children is a gift of God to us thats why children will not spank as a form of discipline. I do not believe parents should spank their children, and instead despite its common acceptance, spanking is a less effective strategy than timeout or removal of privileges for reducing undesired behavior in children.

I agree that children are a gift from God. I have three of them, who are now 21, 17 and 15. None of them have ever been spanked, hit, beat, or whatever you want to call it. I don't believe in using physical punishments to teach a child the proper way to behave.

I don't believe children are gifts, bundles of joy, little angels or anything else other than children. They also did not come from God unless God slept with you and got you pregnant.
