funny jesus christ?

Funny, isn't it? Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says. Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven provided they do not have to believe, think, say, or do anything the Bible says. (Or is it scary?) Funny how someone can say "I believe in God" but still follow Satan (who, by the way, also "believes" in God). Funny how you can send a thousand jokes through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Funny how the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but the public discussion of Jesus is suppressed in the school and workplace.

Actually what's funny to me is how I've gotten in trouble for having discussions on religion in the workplace when a Christian started the discussion and I merely answered their questions about my own religion. I also find it funny how people automatically assume I believe in God or Christ because I am kind to them, or act surprised when they find out that someone who they think of as a good person is Pagan. But what I find funny most of all is that you could write this exact same little spiel about any religion or belief system on Earth. I could just as easily adapt it to be about Paganism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, or any other religion you can think of. Because all religions are equally out of favor somewhere, with someone.

I think it was pointless proselytizing, and encouragement of religious discrimination rather than discouragement of it. Almost all of the people who say that God and Jesus should be in government, schools, and other places also want ONLY their religion to be allowed everywhere. As soon as anyone else speaks up about their own beliefs, many of these same Christians immediately jump down their throats and say their beliefs are false and wrong.

Sadly this world we are living in needs Jesus . But not seeing this what so ever and sadly living a worldly lifestyle instead of a Godly lifestyle as ought to be happening .
