Will CVS Stock Continue to Outperform Walgreens?

When I was looking for a stock in this sector, I was torn between CVS and Walgreens. I choose CVS, and for the time being it looks like a good decision. Walgreens continues to build new stores, and I wonder if they will leap frog ahead of CVS in the long run.

Now hopefully for walgreens they are building the stores where there is demand, need and use for them. If they saturate a market too much it'll end up hurting them more than helping them (increased capital towards building store A while store B exists within a mile of it, the total business gets split among the two. No real profit gain. Basic example). Also check where CVS is and how the stores are situated compared to Walgreens. Even though its not as much of an influence in the market, check what people think of CVS vs Walgreens. Also take note of anything special one pharmacy is doing that the other is not (or its far behind on).
