Hi andrejuly84! There are a couple of times that happened to me. Actually it is like more of a dream within a dream for me. I know that I am asleep and i am dreaming, and in that dream I am being chased by monsters but because I know it was just a dream or a nightmare, I try to wake myself up by moving any body part and when I am able to move a leg or a hand, I suddenly wake up. Well, it may be similar to what you were trying to say..and i hope I didn't confuse you. LOL! take care my friend and have a nice day! :)

that happens to me a lot of times. my dream would usually be climbing a staircase then falling or walking in a slippery path and slipping and falling to my butt. ^__^;; that would give me a start and i would wake up with a sudden movement from in my limbs or legs. i think its normal. and i think someone told me that sometimes its because of stress and that we are too tired upon falling asleep.

Sometimes the medications that we take can cause these things to happen. Or you can be over tired. I know that one thing that is sure to give me nightmares is when I take a nap or go to sleep too soon after eating.
