I don't fully understand the Tag

Tags are like keywords for the discussion. It helps people find discussions on a certain topic. If you go to the mylot search bar and type in a topic you are looking for, say for instance, dogs, all discussions with dogs as a tag will come up. It is helpful to see if there is already a discussion on the topic, or if you are looking for a specific discussion to respond to.

I'm new to MyLot, so I may be wrong. But, I think the Tag is a way to introduce your discussion. It's like the title of a book. For instance, I will Tag my response with "Title" so you will have an idea of what I'll be saying, get it? Happy Holidays, and God bless you!

Tagging in myLot is helping show the others here on myLot an easier way to find your discussions, and what catagory, etc. your discussions fall under. Like since this one talks about myLot, and Tags... you could use myLot and Tag in your tag area.

the tags are just so that you can find discussions easily you don't have to put them in you can skip the tags i do

Tags are keywords....but besides as keywords to be searched for dicussions, they are also used for search engine optimsation.... You can find mylot discussions sometimes when some tags are emphasised a lot

Tags are used to groups the posting in undersome keyword which you give as tag and when any user request a search in search bar of mylot the TAGS are reffered and the result is given to the user.So using the keyword will bring more response.
