well, here i want to tell you the situation of teachers in our country(India) few yrs back there was very very nice relation between teachers and students!!we usually called it as "GURU and SESH"which means teachers and desciple! we respected teachers as our God!!! but recent yr education policy has brought about a great difference !!now a days there is no heartly relationship between teachers and students! "teachers only care their salary and students care about their degree" So they never keep relation !! As soon as student life is over teachers are forgotten !!Why so difference ? what do you guys think about it? nad how is your teachers status?

First, teachers are not gods. Don't be so foolish to call anybody a god. Second, the teachers in your country just like our country are neglected and given one of the lowest salaried employees. That makes a lot of difference. But, I think not all teachers in your country are only for the salary but there are still a lot who is compassionate and loving teacher. If you find one, let me know!

Human beings itself is GOD i believe !! there is no real God other than human beings !!! These days existing Gods were once human being like you n me!! but it depends on you !if you accept to pray him or not!!! Jesus,Budha ,etc.they were born in earth n left too but they left behind something which is unique!!

maybe it is like your country in China.our countries are both developing country,so i think there would be something we feel is bad.with the speeding step of the economy, many people feel unhappy for deep gap occurs between them.they must earn more money and attain to higher statue.so they will ignore what they should concentrate on as certain status, such as teacher.

You are right in saying that the relation between students and teachers are not so good these days. It is all because of the society. India has become a largely commercialised country. These days even children call parents by name. So should you be surpised at the relation between students and teachers. Even teachers are not sincere as before. Thet never make an attempt to make good to children and so the entire country is turning topsy-turvy.

I can't say it is that bad. The ancient gurukula system required you to leave your home, stay with the guru and learn, and obey him to the letter, and do whatever chores his wife tells you to do. :) I can't see many students doing that now. :) Society has changed, and so has the education system. The ancient gurus wouldn't even accept you if you don't meet their standards! Now, you should be educated whether you want to or not! Naturally, teachers work for a salary! You can't expect them to starve. And todays consumerist society wants it employees to work all day (sometimes night) and give maximum productivity. There is no time even for family members. How can you then keep a strong relationship with your teacher? But, again, I repeat, it isn't that bad. I have been a teacher for six years. Many students are still in touch with me, through e-mail and chat. They are happy that I remember them. Can't say I enjoyed being inside the classroom though! Many students had no wish to be inside the classroom either! So the feeling was mutual. But the personal relationship between my students and me was great. They would visit me in the staffroom and talk to me and share their views, opinions, and problems and ask for guidance.. and as ex students, they would visit the college once in a while to tell us what things are like at the workplace. :)

In general, teacher-student relations here in Australia aren't the best, but at my school I have always had really great friendships with my teachers. Unfortunately, many teachers are jaded after many years of teaching and just want to pay off their mortgage, and a lot of students don't even want to be at school and so they clash. My teachers and I (besides a few, who don't get along with me for various reasons) have a mutual respect for one another and get along well in and sometimes out of the classroom. They are people I can have intelligent conversation with, and who don't declare me inferior to them because of my age. =)

No acts can be taken to prevent this. Let god almighty do it. I think you are a malyali. Beacuse i am also. Know i am staying in mangalore. My birth place is kerala.
