creat my blog

Is there anybody who can tell me how to creat my blog in mylot. As i finished the first steps as requested there in mylot's blog section(creat your blog), then it asks me to link to a blog of mine. So i chose my MySpace one. Then it asked me to "claims", and says "add the following code to your blog's homepage template", what's this? i just cann't follow what it says. Anyone is kind enough to help?
