what do you collect?

Sweet, I have collected everything under the sun..My most prized is all my horse stuff from pics to breyers to tack... xoxoxoxo

i semi-collect a lot of random things. i used to collect those ty beanie babies when they were the big thing. and pokemon cards when they were big - even though i didn't even know how to play the game! haha. but something that i started collecting years ago and still do to this day is old and foreign money. either old american money, foreign money or old foreign money. haha. i went to europe in 2001 so i've got a bunch of money from some of the countries there before the euro took over as the main currency there.

I collect old postcards. I have one from 1890 and one from 1904 written in Paris and sent to the U.S.. It's so funny because back then there were no zip codes and the addresses were very short. America wasn't as populated of course. I also collect bells. Hand bells that you can ring. I have older ones, but I also try to get one whenever I go to a new place. So I have some from L.A., New Zealand, Australia, Georgia, and others. I've also had family bring me some from the Bahamas and Alaska to name a few.

the only things i collect is stuff that has to do with recovery and different nick nacks for the house and i have this addiction with buying funky pens and stuff like that so i guess you can say i collect pens

I collect postcards from around the world. They do not have to be old though. I always get a few new postcards when I visit a country. I like to collect foreign coins as well. I have some lovely unusual ones from the Cook Islands. One of them is a triangular coin. I have never seen one of these in many other country. I also collect costume dolls from around the world. If I see a nice one of a suitable size when I am in a country I buy it. I got a hand made wooden doll from Romania and some pretty dolls made from material from the Seychelles. When I was younger I bought two antique dolls. I have the two of them on display as well.

I collect ephemera, to use on my altered books. I have files on people I know, and put the things I find with the friends I think they're suited to. Then, when I make a book or a journal, I add these things to the covers and the pages to make it personal. I'm a crafter... its impossible for me to collect anything without a project in mind. I don't have the space!LOL!

I used to collect coins and stamps. I had never collected postcards. I love collecting songs and movies. I love to watch different movies and listen to songs. I also like reading very much and used to collect different types of books. I love detective books very much.
