Get out of my way!

I ate at Taco Bell today in between appointments. I ordered my food to go, but went inside. My poor little car has a bad habit of overheating if it sits still too long, so unless it's just pouring down rain, I usually go inside. I was taught that when you order, move out of the way of the register and don't be a counter hog. I order my food and go get my napkins, spork and mild sauce and wait on my number to be called to pick up my food. Meanwhile, some man who is behind me decides that his place in live is to spread his wallet, cell phones, change, keys, hat, beeper and knife all over the counter and then proceeds to take his cash and organize it in demoniational order. Meanwhile, the clerk is calling my number to come get my food and thanks to Mr. Counter Hog, I have to elbow him out of the way, squeeze in between him, a wall and the drink machine, extend one pinky finger and have the clerk hook the bag over my food and then exit out the same way I came in. Counter Hog is oblivious to the fact I'mt there. Doing my public service announcement for the day: Unless you are the only person in the restaurant, do not hog the counter. Otherwise expect my elbow in your side.
