Do you prefer to watch movies by buying CDs or going to cinema?

I have a collection of tapes I usually watch. I am still in the dark ages, but manage to watch a DVD once in a while. There are too few good movies for me to go regularly to the cinema. I am probably too particular and like a lot of older movies from the 50's-80's. I would rather buy a good movie than rent them.

I used to like going to the cinemas but now that I can get the same quality in the comfort of my own home I would just as rather stay home and watch movies.

This might sound a bit odd, but I actually prefer buying dvds. I'm the kind of person who can rewatch a movie an infinite number of times, and if it's a movie I really like I can easily see it two times in a row. I've never been much of a cinema goer, but the times I do go it's a bit of a celebration for me. :D

I prefer going to the cinema to watch movies with friends... but sometimes, if its a family thing, I save a lot by buying DVDs instead and have the entire family watch it specially because as a family we can watch a number of movies the entire day... Hehehe!!! Nevertheless, at times, it is very difficult to shop for movies because there are a number of movies I want to watch and they can be from different genres.

I don't like going to movies anymore because it's to darned expensive! I prefer to rent movies myself and actually the library is a lot cheaper or free. Once in a while I will wait until the movie come to the $1 movie if there is a movie I really want to see. They usually come out in the dollar movie first then it won't be long until it's out on video.
