How many of you use VOIP service for your home phone?

I have been using it for over 2 years and I love it. Especially since you can call anywhere in the US and talk all day long. Do you think this will eventually cause the landline phone service to belly up? The rates they charge are higher and for long distance you usually have to have a separate provider. I used to have vonage but now i have it through my cable company so its one combined bill. Let me know what you think.

I just have a regular old land line. I have been reading some bungle stories regarding some providers (of phone and cable/hispeed too so its emcompassing). I may try it out either way.

Hi, I too have a triple package with my cable company. Phone, Internet and Cable and I sure do not miss the old phone company service with their crazy prices. I think the phone companies will eventually be copying off the cable guys and start offering their own VOIP service. I love the unlimited usage.
