Do you really need nerve pills to do a customer service job?

YES!!! I work in customer service part time and OHMIGOD how people whine. Sometimes I have to hit the mute button to keep from going off. I know that people get upset and I have been there myself but I know how to conduct myself in a manner that displays that I am an adult. I know some people that cant even come through the door unless they have popped at least a prozac or something. Do you know someone who does this or are you in this predicament yourself?

I used to work in a call center for seven years. I hated all but six of those years. That one year I was not on the phone talking to customers so that year was heaven. I vowed never to work customer service again.
