Matt Roloff and end of season

Seems like there is not any discussion on here since the show started up this season.
After this past monday night's show I have an opinion as to Matt's DUI arrest. With all of his medical problems he found out about this show I am almost sure his DUI was not that, it had something to do with his being a diabetic. I guess time will tell next season as I'm sure next week will just be leading up to it all and him going to court then will leave us hanging.
Any one else that watches the show have an opinion?

I believe that Matt's diabetes was very possibly the
culprit.
When blood sugar is too high or too low, they smell
as if they have been drinking, become uncordinated
and very confused. Usually very uncooperative as well.
A lot of things can mess up blood sugar. Going to the
dentist and getting novacaine, not eating at exactly
the right time, even an upset stomach could cause
problems because even if they did eat, and vomit
it up, the insulin will get so mixed up.
I had not heard about this until today on myLot.
New medication can sometimes cause blood sugar
problems. An infection, or having to take cortizone
(steroids) for arthritis or for many other things
will send that blood sugar out the top.

Welcome to myLot NanaL41. Thank you for responding. I don't know when the new season starts again but am really anxious to see the outcome of this. I knew that certain illnesses could make it seem like a person was drunk when it in fact they had not but you just told me many things I had no idea about them.

I would be really shocked if it came up that Matt was intoxicated. Given all I have seen on the show he is a great guy with a wonderful family and I don't think he is way too smart to drink and drive and what kind of an example would he be setting with his 3 kids. He seems to be the kind of guys who practices what he preaches.

I also would be shocked but I don't think he was intoxicated. I'm sure it has something to do with his being a diabetic. I love that family and really hate that the kids are growing up so fast since that might mean the end of their show in the near future.
As for setting an example, yes, espeically now that his two oldest, the twins, just got their license and the daughter won't be too far behind them and that leaves the youngest.
Matt takes so much pride in all that he and his family do and I really don't think he would jeopardize any of it by doing something stupid like that.

I watch the show regularly and don't believe for a second that Matt would drive under the influence. He's too much of a stand up kind of a guy for that.
I'm sure that whatever reason it was, it was something medical rather than intoxication.
