Do you believe on blindness of love?

I think that love is never blind, it just refuses to see the flaws in a person. :)

I think it means during people fall in love with each other, they can not realise each other's shortcoming. Even it's obvious disadvantage for others, they do not think so. They can contain each other's everything whatever it's good or bad. But as times going, their love is calme down and they can find out each other's shortcoming quickly. In this stage,if lovers can deal with their things well, they can walk until the end--get married, if not, they will break down their relationship. LOL

Love is blind can mean so many different things to so many different people. To me it means that you cannot see the proof before your eyes because love has blinded you. Let me give you an example... J who's wife K has seen K running around with all sorts of guys in very unwarented situations. K tells J that there is nothing to it as all of these guys are just friends. J has seen K half naked with a couple of guys with alot of guilty looks but because K said there is nothing to it and J is in love he believes it without a second question. J is blinded from the reality that K is cheating because he loves her. Next example, J is a very grotesque man. 500lbs, never showers, just disgusting. L his loving wife does not see how gross he really is as to her he is a good looking guy. It cannot be L's taste in guys since she has had many georgous men in her life but because she is in love with J she is blinded to his grossness and unattractiveness. These are examples that I have seen in myown life so I know that love is blind. I hope that I have answered this adequetly. HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!

It means you don't want to see the bad things, or the hurtful things, or what ever else you dont want to see or deal with. Blame it on love. Sorry, i don't buy it. Love isn't as powerful in that respect as everyone thinks it is. If you accomodate someones hurtful actions in the name of love, that just tells that person that is it okay with you to keep doing whatever it was
