stress can make you ugly

I have proven it.. and the worst part of it is, you know it. Under a lot of stress, I get frizzy and falling hair, eye bags, dry skin, flaking scalp - and eyebrow skin! It is one thing to turn a little ugly day by day and be oblivious to it, than to know fully, while walking around, that you look like a zombie. That's double jeopardy on looks and on self esteem. I just got a haircut and hairspa after 2 weeks of bearing it all, since I need to study for my exams. How do you feel when you know something's off in your beauty department, but you have to face the world depite it?

I totally agree with you on stress making people ugly ,especially ladies. If the stress is too big and feelings are terrible, ladies will be losing beauty. Happiness make beatiful people,so let's have a try.

That's the best year-ender (and starter) suggestion jennysong. Maybe I will have shirts with that advice printed on - of course I will split profits with you. hehe. cheers!

Yes, it has really been proven that stress can really make you ugly. Another thing is that it will not only make you ugly but also look old. And some other factors like health issues.

Oh, you nailed that one on the head. But I do have a professor (and more, actually) who have other consultancies, etc. and I truly wonder how they always appear impeccable - from hair to toe - in public everyday. Me, you will find me in rubber sandals, no make-up (but that's normal for me), and non-matching slacks and shirt. (I have a stash of clothes in the office, so when matches are not possible, I just pull out and put on anything, as long as I still look human). But then, I NEVER forget my deodorant. At least, on that one I am particularly conscious.

I totally agree with that....I get a lot of pimples when I'm stressed...and that's mostly because got too much to do, and have no time for other things including going to the washroom and to wash my face... Stress just makes one ugly....

Gosh! There are so many of us in that department! Sometimes, when I have over extended stressful periods, I squeeze in a time to wash my face, so I have a facial wash in my drawer in the office. But still, I always forget, but when what the mirror is showing is increasingly becoming shocking, that's enough incentive to rush back... uh, where's that facial wash? ... :D cheers!
