What type of News do you generally feel compelled to watch?

What type of News do you stick around to see when the News comes on? Is it the main stories? The sports? The weather. Or do you sit to watch the whole period of News when it comes on. Is there any kind of News you walk away from?

For me i like to watch current events but please don't like politics and war but we have to know what is going on around us for our own safety and family too.The best is to know where is best interest for humanity new improvements or new discovery to help people live life even better but still normal and happy.

I agree..most media in America is biased and you can't really know what part, if any is true.

I watch MSNBC a lot, but most of American media is completely biased. If you really want to know what is happening here or anywhere else, I always go to the internet and look at international newspapers like the Guardian or Sydney Morning Herald.

I don't watch the news. I just listen, I don't like how they use things to get in your head. Sports the only type I do watch and when stories come out I take most with a pinch of salt. I'm not compelled though :) Rarely an heart warming story might do it though. (but when are they shown these days?) ~Joey

I agree with you and affirm that most of what is put out by the media should be taken with a pinch of salt. Even the weather people in forecasting only make an guess at what's going to happen with the weather. I think it's more about being able to talk in front of the camera;)
