Bead work is hard stuff! How do you guys come up with new designs that will keep you enjoying your craft? I am only an amiture beader so if it's not on a project lay out I can't do it. But this is something I want to correct because I like to do it for the most part.

My idea's come to me, typically looking at beads...then I consider what I'll use for stringing, whether it's tigertail, or stretch material..silkthread or wire...then I try to commit a bit more time to the thoughts that come to me , do I want a "focal" bead..or will it be a strand? Do I want a necklace, a bracelet, or a choker..maybe earrings to match, or alone! Once I decide on color and bead style..that usually will help me make the second..focal, etc..then the stringing style/material...and finally the closure. I find myself in another world when I bead, or craft period..I find it a very relaxing and almost a sedative essence I receive from allowing myself to be a bit more right brained. I highly recommend it!!
