In the book of 1 or 2 John, there is a content that says "the book of Enoch." Is there really a book written by Enoch in the Old Testament that is not part of our Bible Today?

It is said that the Book of Enoch exists as a few aramaic fragments, and it is said it exists in any somewhat complete/readable form in an ethiopian translation, but the aramaic version was completely lost until the 17th century when fragments were found. It was not included in the canon. There was debate if it was divinely inspired, or there just wasn't enough of it to include it.

Or, i should also say, some debate that it was duplicitous of other books already there.

The Book of Enoch does exist and is included in the Ethiopian Christian Bible and was not included in the the canons because of the misticism was a little over the top for orthodox christian. There is also a book called the lives of adam and eve which discusses in more detail about how the human population came to be when there is only mension of Cain and Abel and the kids of Adam and Eve.

yes there is a book of Enoch, but the Church of Rome saw fit to ban it from our cannon (bible) becouse it interfered with their autority. it tells of the angels or (sons of God) mentioned in genesis and the flood and gives a full acount of what happened. This was left out becouse the church did not want people to ponder on the things mentioned in this book but you canstill read it as there are some inprint books of Enoch, very good reading.

Can this be one reason why there are many versions of the bible? I've read an article about this somewhere but need to clarify. There is also an agnostic version? There are even bibles that different completely from those widely circulated, other books of prophets, other lesser apostoles book.

Yes there are other books of apostles, many being fake, but to answer another question it is the nostic bible no agnostic. nostic being those who say they know atruth none others kno. nostic is greek for knowing, agnostic means not knowing.

I have not seen a verse mentioning "the book of Enoch" and so please specify the verse. Enoch was taken by God to heaven, he did not die here on earth as any man does. When could he possibly written a book? Or even if he had written, perhaps that is not necessary in salvation that it was not included anymore for as apostle John said the world would not contain the books if everything is written.

There are accounts on life of Enoch the great patriarch in the book called Pearl of Great Price. Latter Day Saints or Mormon missionaries they have copies of this story of ENOCH. They will help you about this matter. Have a nice day.
