I was watching the news and I don't remember where the girl went to school but the story was about a girl who got suspended from school for sending a nude picture of her friend in the shower to a boy she knew at school. It was a picture from behind not full frontal. It also didnt have anything to do with the school as the picture wasent taken on school property or anything like that. The school found out about this and suspended the girl who took the picture and although I feel bad for the girl who had the picture taken of her and passed around I think it was wrong of the school to suspend the girl. It wasent the schools business to get involved it was her parents choice how they chose to punish her for her behavior. The father was mad about her suspension as she also got kicked off the cheerleading squad but he wasent going to sue or anything. I think the school should do something to make up for the punishment they inflicted on her or they should be sued. Something similar to this happened at my school about 10 years ago and I think it was handled wrong then as well. What does everyone else think?

@Jimbo452020 it is ridiculous the school got involved wasn’t it. What are you doing going back through my old cringy posts to find the most perverted ones possible . I see many have comments I never returned I’ll have to work on that although most the people are probably no longer active. It must have been when I left myLot when they stopped paying.

@JimBo452020 I was gone for about two years I think I just can’t remember when it was. I’m disgusted with myself seeing many comments were responded to and I think I was active. I wonder how I missed them.

it depends on the situation. we obviously dont know the entire story, because that wouldn't be good news. was it her friend in the shower? or her enemy? why was she sending it to a boy? did the other girl want her to? we all know that once parents get involved the story gets changed around a bit and the truth doesn't always rise to the top. as for the cheerleading, its within their rights to kick her off the squad, most schools hold their cheerleaders and athletes to a code of conduct standard and can be kicked off for any reason... i'd be intereseted in finding out more details, but i doubt we'll ever find them out

@dvschic ahh that is a good point about the cheerleading team. I know they do that with football players too. I don’t think it’s fair though but it’s the way it is and hopefully they are aware of that when they sign up. You are correct there is always more to the stories then we are made aware of in the news.

I think it is wrong for her to be suspended she didn't bring the photos to school and pass them around she took naked photos of herself and gave them to her boyfriend, its dumb! yes... but who hasn't done it! i feel sorry for her too.

First off, what kind of school is this? Is it a small, private school, because I know they have a reputation for being more strict. But, if this was a public school, that's probably the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Basically, she got suspended because she took a naked picture of herself and someone ELSE sent it to a boy. Who hasn't taken pictures of themselves naked?! I'll admit it, I have. And it was sent to someone, not by somebody else, but by my own doing. :) It's sort of like suspending a student for not cleaning their room at home. It's their home life, not their school life, and the principals, teachers, and school board need to stop trying to raise someone else's child.

@melissacus I agree 100%. I think it was a public school but I wrote this so long ago I am not positive on that. What a great point how it’s like suspending a kid for not cleaning their room at home!

I agree with you. That is an outside issue from school business. Years back when I was in high school we had a similar incident but it occurred on school property. Just another example of unnecessary disipline in today's educational system.

@diamond14 on school property I can see it being an issue but this wasn’t done at school and I think it’s so wrong this girl got in trouble and was humiliated with everyone seeing her photos.
