Anyone here use gather?

Just recently I joined gather and I am really enjoying it. It seems like a great way to meet new people, post articles and start conversations =) Not to mention while I'm doing all of this I'm earning points towards gift cards and cash. What do you think of gather.com? =) I'd love to hear your thoughts about that site. -Claidissa

Gather is a good site, like all these sites it is NOT instant! You have to work at making friends by reading and commenting on their articles. People are generally friendly at Gather, there are exceptions but that kind is found all over the internet.

I joined a few days ago and I really like it so far. I've been posting some of my older articles that have already been published, so it hasn't been too much work coming up with new stuff, although I did write one new post.

I love Gather! I have been a member of Gather since May 30th, '06, and I love it. My Gather page is http://www.danishcanadian.gather.com and I'm on there every day. I still need to get my American tax ID, so I can cash out. When I cash out I'll be eligable for over two hundred dollars.
