Anyone else have to shovel at their apartment?

I live at an apartment building. We had snow on Thursday, and just had some more this morning (Sunday). The landlord never plowed. Last night when I came home from work I got stuck on ice. It took us an hour to move my car into a parking space. Today I tried to shovel so it won't be so bad tomorrow morning when I have to leave for work. But if it freezes tonight I might be walking to work.

I do not live in an apartment, but today the city shoveled the snow and blocked all the sidewalks. So I had to remove those big blocks of ice and last week they plowed the back lanes and my husband had a hard time getting out of the garage because the snow was blocking it. Actually the landlord should plow the driveways and parking space clean or hire someone to do it. It is not your responsebility.

Well i would talk to landlord and also get salt not like table salt but road salt and spread it all over the place to melt ice. You can also throw sand all over the place to create traction.
