yeah me also im finish buying gifts like toys, clothes, and some canned food for the coming holidays only i need to do now is to send them in my country i dont wrapped one by one i just put it in two big boxes and tie with strong ropes i love doing it when i write their name in the gifts and write some greeting letters i know they will be happy when they received my package and gifts:-) merry christmas in advance

no, not yet..i'm planning to go shopping on 22 of December..i know lots of people in the mall, but it's alright..good for you that you already done with the gift wrapping, shopping..gosh! it's so hard but it's fun..wishing you a merry xmas friend..

Thank you cherriemae and i wish you a merry christmas also,and a happy new year.Well it seems christmas is right here on us,i beleive we have about 7 days or so left? I have to shop early because i find it hard to make decisions.I know the 22nd will be crowded but you will make it.Good luck with the crowds.I was out yesterday and man the people was all over.

I finished a couple of weeks ago. I had gotten a few things thruout the year. Then the day after Thanksgiving I shopped until I dropped. And I dropped hard, hehe. Actually Walmart had a fantastic sale going on and I got most of it done that day. Congrats on getting it all done. Now the work in getting it all wrapped. I did some wrapping and still have some more to do. I will be having a houseful for Christmas. It will be fun. I wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Joyous New Year.

oh yes i remember about your shopping day! black Friday i beleive? you were so tired...well thats great now you can wrap hee hee..I did a lot of my wrapping already but i got a bad paper cut , and them things hurt so be careful.Oh thats wonderful i use to have a houseful but this year my daughter wants to have it at her house, she said it is her turn ,so thats ok with me.well Merry Christmas to you and your family, i do hope you have a wonderful time and a joyous new year...

Finally I made it. This morning, I went to Zellers and picked up books for my two sons, my daughter-in-law and the baby. I had already bought my husband's present. I already finished the gingerbread cookies, some squares, and all I have to do is to make another batch of shortbread cookies and everything is done, the presents wrapped. Now all I have to do is to bring the Christmas tree up from the basement.

Well sounds like you just about got it all done.Thats what i have been doing today is baking.I made a double batch of oatmeal raisin cookies, and tommorro i will get some more baking done and i will be done to.Christmas is just around the corner...

I am doing minimal christmas shopping this year. trying to make christmas less commercialised.
there is no reason why we need to get gifts (i make exceptions for children) for each other and i think the only people who are profitting from these are the shops!
so i'd stick to birthday gifts throughout the year, and leave the shopping madness and the crowds to the rest...

Its true christmas is so commercialised these days.We were just talking about that just yesterday.My husabnd seems to feel like you and we did make sure we bought for all the children this year..Oh yes it is true the shops are profitting from christmas.I was out and about yesterday and the amount of people and cars on the road was horrible,people were everywhere.

I am finishing up Tomorrow. We did not go all out this year buying alot of gifts. We usually go over board. This year is going to be a very special year because this is the last year we spend Christmas with my oldest son living at home. So we are going to make it more sentimental with memories and home videos.

I am almost done. One more to buy for my husband.He finished his last night. My hubbys birthday is Dec 18. sometimes he gets short changed. As for wrapping, that'll wait. At least until daughter is in bed.Tis the season Fa la lalalala. For paper cuts and stress! LOL

haha well that great you have done good.Oh poor hubby i know how that is, i have 2 sons that has a birthday almost at christmas and they get short changed too..Oh paper cuts yes i know i did one on my hand while wrapping,those things hurt.

Good for you. I still haven't bought gifts for my family. i've wrapped all the rest of the gifts already but I find it hard in thinking of gifts for my close friends and immediate family members. The shopping malls are really busy and it's even harder to look for gifts. I just hope I could find the perfect gifts for them in time.
