Personally I really enjoy anything by Nicholas Sparks. You have probably heard of him. A few of his books have been made into movies such as The Notebook, At First Sight, A Walk to Remember, and Message in a Bottle. He writes love stories, and I haven't read a book of his yet that I didn't like. They are pretty fast reads to, as in once I start them I have a hard time putting them down. Hope you find something you like! Happy reading!

Nicholas Sparks is AWESOME! Have you read "The Choice"? That is his newest one. It made me cry for the last 30 pages.

Right now I am going to start a book called The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, not sure, but it was on Oprah's reading list. I don't know if you have ever heard of her but I have totally fallen for Debbie MaComber novels. The are the perfect balance of romance, ispiration, female bonding. Usually I enjoy a good murder mystery thriller, but Debbie's books are a great break from those. I always end her books with a feeling of being there, knowing the characters on a personal level and wanting to read the next one. For never having heard of her, she has tons of series' out. If you are into that sort of thing you should try her books. I am in the middle of the Dakota triolgy right now. Good luck.

Debbie MacComber books are GREAT, too! I would start with the knitting series. Those are wonderful, though I don't think I've read one by her I haven't liked! I must be strange. Oprah's reading list books are always best sellers, but I have been able to get into very few that she recommends.

Try some of Jodi Picoult's book. They are fantastic stories and get you hooked from the first page. Probably my favourite of her books is "My Sister's Keeper"

I definitely second the opinion on any of Jodi Picoult's books. The first ones of hers that come to my mind are "The Pact" and "19 Minutes". I would recommend keeping a hanky handy if you read her books, though!

What types of books do you like? I love Nora Robert's new book High Noon. It's great. I has a little suspence and romance and murder and mystery. It's kinda all in one.

Nora Roberts is good. Have you read Perry Oshaunasy (sp)? They are two sisters that write the Nina Reilly series. Good if you are into murder, law, mysteries.
