Season currently showing in Australia

We have waited so long for the Amazing Race to come back on TV and are now insulted by being shown an older season - the one from before All Stars. What happened to the "Fast Track" some TV stations are promising? Why are we not seeing the current season being shown in the US? Will we ever get to see it?
