My Hermies

I have had my hermies for over a year now with no dramas, i have 7 in total and they all live in a huge decked out crabitat with plenty of room to run around and items to climb on. I find my hermies love crackers and apple but i also feed them commercial food and have had no trouble with it. My biggest problem is with the painted shells you see pet stores trying to sell, they are dangerous and unhealthy for the crabs 6 out of my 7 crabs were in painted shells when i purchased them and i litterally had to break the shells apart piece by piece over many hours to get the crabs free as they are put in the shells whilst still wet and get stuck, they all moved straight into there new natural shells and are healthy and happy.
