I'm allergic to dust, mold, and pollen, the usual kind of weather related allergies. Other than that, I'm not aware of any more allergies. My dad is allergic to fish and shrimp, and I would hate that. Not just because I like that kind of food, but because of the possibility of cross contamination. My dad ordered a chicken salad from a restaurant once, only to have his face swell up like a balloon. He was rushed to the ER and had to be treated immediately because his air way was being cut off. Apparently, there had been some cross contamination between his salad and the fish in the kitchen. It could have been someone not washing their hands, or it could have been that the chicken and fish were side by side, no one knows. But that probably happens more than we all realize.
