If Jamie-Lynn Spears thinks she's ready to be a mom and her boyfriend, ready to be a dad, good luck to them.
It's sad this young role model and star of Zoey 101 is sending a message to young girls, whether she means to or not.
The show (Zoey 101) is popular and the future of the show has to be in doubt now.
I wish her, the father to be and especially the baby good luck.

I was disappointed with this announcement because I was just using her as an example with my girls the other day. Because Britney trashes herself for publicity and Jamie seems so down to earth and respectable. I guess I called that one wrong.

I flipped when I saw this on MSN yesterday! Not saying that she can't or won't be a good mom and things happen but oh the Spears family just can't get a break can they?! But her age (and sister) aren't any idication of the type of parent she will be. She got more going her way than the rest of us do. Financial security the best of the best. If she does it right she'll be just fine and hopefully the parents of the kids that watch Zoey 101 will teach their kids that having a baby at isn't what they should get from this show.
