On Telephone why "ABC" starts From 2 and not from 1 ?

because 1 depicts special characters.. like '.' '-' '+' , etc

hmmm y only 1 is kept for special characters ? y not 0 : "space", "." etc ?? btw thanks responding :)

0 is kept for space because it is easily accessible and we use space a lot...

Well never thought of all these alphabets on a telephone. Thats kind of a good discussion. Thanks for that.
