My question to you is do you really think that we are free or is it just a fabrication?
The reason why I was asking this question because I recently had a discussion in a chat room two days ago with a guy from the UK, interesting fellow, he then posed a question to me. do you think that you are actually free with the patriot act that you have? Now I thought about it for a while and I stated that to a degree I believe that we are free and then I pose the question to him are you ever really truly free?
So no I pose the above question to you, Do you really think we are free or is it just a fabrication? Please take everything into consideration even the patriot act.

I don't think anyone can be completely free, but compared to most countries we must look that way.

I agree no one can ever be completely free ... but there is a degree of freedom that we have that most don't ... thank you for your response.

i believe we are free with my whole heart. of course the government is in control of things though. we have ways we have to live by. i don't mind living by them though because without rules what would this country be. it would be in worse shape then it already is. i do think separation of state and religion has added to a lot of our problems in this country though but that is a total different subject
