When Is A Relationship Over?

I've been married over 10 years and the relationship has been full of problems. I want to respect my marriage vows, but my husband can't seem to put his family first, he's always thinking of himself. He keeps saying he's going to change, but he hasn't. How much time should you give someone before you decide it's time to move on?

If you truly believe in your vows and want to make your relationship work, you need to do a lot more than just give things time. You need to be actively working on this and any other problems that occur in your relationship. You need to have open communication with your husband and have a real talk with him about what's going on. Have you tried counseling yet? If not, you should. If you're ready to give up without really trying, then this marriage doesn't mean much to you, either.
