waterproofing my awning

is there anyone out there that can give me any advice on waterproofing my awning please

Well I'd have to know what the awning is made of, but I'd automatically recommend thompson's as a water seal. Still, be sure to read the item carefully so you are not applying the mixture to an incorrect surface.

they make waterproofing spray for canvas and other fabrics...try checking craft stores, home stores, and camping supply stores...i can't remember what its called...
