how do you get a .com name do you have to pay for it or what and how do i go about creating one thanks merry christmas

You need to register your domain name with a reliable company. I will recommend godaddy.com, hostigation.com or polarwebservices.com. Their support is good. And one thing you need to have a good hosting services so that your site can be published at internet.

Have a look around at hosting companys they will all charge different and check they name you want to get.
Have a look at Netfirms.com domain names .coms are about 5.95 for a year in the sale .

I just purchased one today. They are very reliable, I know many people who buy domain names from them and only them.
You can pay by Papal or credit card at Name.com

I'd recommend going to www.godaddy.com to get your domain name. You can check and see if the name you want is available and if it is you can get it for about $7 or $8 per year....very simple and painless
