India Australia First Test - Day One Start

well guys the long waited series finally started. Ponting choose to bat first and this means that they are looking to place a huge total in front of our team.
When you compare the two teams, you will notice that we lack only one thing and that is a quality all rounder, which may prove costly cause we dont have a pace attack to match that of Australia.
But do you guys know why Tait is not playing

Hey buddy this time indian are bowling nicely and scoreboard is saying 312/9 wicket and 3 over reamian for today. So we can say Australia is not performing well besides Methew heyden made 124. Today Jaher bowled Pointing in a beautiful bowl. He has bowled out. Ponting couldn't understand the ball. So This match will going on interesting. Keep watching.

yes man a lot changed after the lunch session. now india are in very good position after the end of the days play. they are set for a good position in the match

Well aussies always looks to give a big total to there opponents and may be the reason to choose bat first is in last 2 days the pitch will helpful for bowlers and aussies is having a very good bowling line up and as you said that we dont have a allrounder ofcourse its cause a matter but if all play well then there is no need of allrounder.hope indian bowlers will get some early wickets.

well they look very good when they bat and this time also they did the same, but have you seen, they are now in a very bad stage. now india needs to capitalize on this point if they want to win the match.

I think India had done very good job taking nine wicket on the first day. Anil Kumble had taken five wickets. I think Tait is one of the wicket taking bowler. I also wonder why they have not played him in the first day. I think some of the batsman needed to give India a good starting. Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, or Sachin Tendulkar one of them has to stand still the end and others should bat around one of these guys. I think Rahul Dravid will open the innings and most probably will give India a good start. I really wish that Rahul Dravid get a century. Rahul Dravid has been out of form and he should get some good runs in the first test itself. I think India should make around 600 to 650 runs and most probably around 300 to 350 runs lead and should declare the innings. Hope India does not lose wicket early.

I caught the end of the first day of play and India have done very well. Ponting out for 4 was a blessing. As an England fan I do so like to see the Aussies struggling..lol

yes. aus lost 8 wickets for day one. i think india rule this match in their ground. bec., kumble bowling help to india to get more wickets. but, in 2nd innings it may be differ. wait & see.
