I consider myself both. There are times when obstacles come, I tend to be so negative and that's why i am always reminded by my parents to always look on the bright side. But there are also times that I try to look at problems in a positive way. To stay positive in the most trying moments, you should think or look at things in thier bright sides. Like problems, to be positive, you should look at problems as a challenge not as a burden.

Yes, when I'm faced with trials, I tell myself, it could have been worse. So I should still be grateful.

I am an optimist. Even though things often go in a pessimistic kind of direction, keeping yourself attuned to your purpose or goals will help you stay positive. You will experience all kinds of ups and downs as you go though life. As long as your inner self is focused in optimism rather than pessimism, eventually the optimistic self will rule the day. More of your experiences will be joyfull and these will be interspersed with moments of suffering, pain and sadness. You cannot get around that, only through it by remaining optimistic. Despite some not so great events taking place in my life, I remain of a optimistic nature.

I believe I am more pessimistic than my hubby and my hubby is more optimistic than me so therefore we as a unit is well balanced...At times when I am down he picks me up and when he is down I pick him up but most time he picks me up...Life is good when things are balanced...

I am soooo and optimist. It's sickening. You just have to belive that good things are just around the corner. And when it does just seem soooo helpless you just have to rely on your faith and people around you to pull you to the other side.

Hi berryliciousme, I consider myself an optimistic person. I always think that only a good result will come to all my actions, even if it is little late.I relax myself and always ensure that the other person do not get hurt because of my actions.I do faced some failures in my long life of 50 years, but I always took that to be the god's action. Never repented. Though my life was totally satruggled one, since last 20 years, it turned to good past 4 years when my children started earning according to my wish.I wanted them to study Engineering, wanted them to be at abroad. Now both are working as Software engineers in well reputed companies and my elder son has already gone abroad(US) and my second son is waiting for his turn. I feel all these were achievable as long as you are optimistic and work for it. Good Luck.
