The Gift

It is said "The greater satisfaction of life does not come with a receiving a gift but with the giving of a gift" . In fact, it is when we give that we feel happier than receiving. Do you believe in this?

I believe in the happiness on giving gift especially to someone who need it the most. i feel great to know that the gifts i gave to them was really appriceated and give them better life.

Hi angel108,
There is one thing which you have to remember.If the satisfaction of both gift receivers and gift providers is indeed can get satisfaction if the gift presenter ask what gift the receiver wants and give him the same gift, both the gifter and reciver will have satisfaction.
Without asking what gift the receiver need, what ever gift you give both will have no satisfaction and it will be just for the sake of give and take.

Of course it is nice to be on the receiving end. However, when one gives, at least there will be 2 happy people. The receiver will be happy to receive the gift, the giver will be happy when he sees the happy receiver. Of course, if the gift is tangible, the seller of the gift would be happy too. As such I do believe in giving more than receiving. What do you say?
