Do you think the alchemist speaks a little spirituality?

There are lot of incidents where Santiago undergoes a situation similar to one that comes on the path of spirituality. Whoever having done a training in spiritual life would take it as a story speaking philosophy and high spirituality.
What do you think?

I think the message has been conveyed clearly by the author. Indeed, life in so many ways has to be spiritual because we tend to live with really realizing that everything around us has in a way affect us -- thus, realizing that our actions affect greatly the people, and things that surround us. :D
