i went for coffee this morning and didnt grab my keys on the way out.. the door was locked behind me! so i was outside for over an hour.. lucky for me i have a giant snow fort im building in the backyard to keep me busy, and sheltered from the wind to boot! i was just curious what you all have done when you locked yourselves out and had to wait for someone else to let you in.. thanks again to my wife for unlocking the door when she woke up! :D

i once bolted the door from inside and then forgot the keys inside. when i returned i night,i realised i had no keys. i didnt have an extra one and i couldn't find a carpenter or anyone. after an hour i finally found help. a man living nearby reached my balcony, climbing from the apartment next to mine. then he removed the net of the window and jumped in!! last week i was abt to lock myself out again but suddenly remembered. the thought of getting locked outside gives me creeps!!

if i ever got locked out of my house and someone was home i would be pounding on a door or window for someone to let me in and if no one was home id be trying to figure out a way in or call the landlord and see if he was free.

haha the thought crossed my mind to knock on the door but the wife and kids were still asleep and i didnt wanna wake them.. it wasnt horrible out so i played in the snow! and my landlord is too far away for that kinda phone call although i guess i would if i really really had to

Ok thats sucks getting locked out umm... how old are you and your building a snow fort arent there better things to do. But i guess if that floats your boat go for it i always hide a key out side somewhere so i can never get locked out mabe your should try that to.

ya i could leave one outside but this is actually the first time i can ever remember leaving my house without keys.. i dont imagine it will happen again anytime soon :) but ya maybe i should put one out just in case!.. and the snowfort.. i build a snow fort cuz i have kids.. if you were to look at photos on facebook you'd see it has a slide and stuff for them to go down etc :) and it gives me a place to smoke when im outside too since i dont smoke inside.. its a huge fort big enough for many people to sit around in.. and besides i gotta do something with all the snow we get here!
