Ok, first a small objection to a question that will date some of us! LOL. Now one of my favorites( I too have many) is the Breakfast Club..LOVE IT. Another that I watch alot..THE LOST BOYS. That movie has style.I could go on and on ALIENS with Sigourney Weaver. Love movies where the movie muscle is a girl! She started in Alien in 1979 so I know that doesn't count.lol

I didnt think that would date some people... I am only 20 years old! I was only born in '87, So I wasnt really thinking. I grew up watching them because my mom was always watching them. But I also love the Breakfast Club. I watch it everytime it is on TV! I also love the goonies.

Tough question. Some great movies made in the 80's. But I guess when I think of the 80's I think of "Say Anything" and of the films of John Hughes (especially "The Breakfast Club" and "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"). To me they all are quintessential movies of the 80's. Well-made, very funny, but never dumb; or dumbed down for a target audience. Especially "Say Anything". A warm, funny, bittersweet story about young love and life.
