perfect life - should we try to make this happen?

we see it all the time...in television shows, movies, books, etc. about people living there own little perfect lives. and i personally believe that we see this being portrayed so much that we want it for ourselves as well. im not saying that this cant happen but im jus wondering...should we really put all this effort into having the "perfect life" ?

I think we should worry more about being content than about everything being perfect or better than every one else. Perfection is nice to strive for but I think it makes people unhappy when they realize its impossible.

yeah i agree...i think that we should all jus be satisfied with what we have and make the best of our situation

Nice observation to this topic of TV shows. I think the perfection-even the bad parts and arguements-are affecting our perspectives on our own lives and cause us to be discontent.
