Do you know of any good recipies with honey?

Honey is good for you if more ways than one. Do you have recipies that might get me to eat more?

the following are recipes from allrecipes.com Honey Limeade SUBMITTED BY: Nicole and Stephie "A refreshing drink on a hot day. Serve over ice." INGREDIENTS * 1 cup lime juice * 5 cups water * 2/3 cup white sugar * 2 tablespoons honey DIRECTIONS 1. In a pitcher, combine lime juice, water, sugar and honey. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Chill in refrigerator. ---------------------------- Honey Nut Bars SUBMITTED BY: Alycia Sands "Sweet and chewy with dates, nuts and honey." INGREDIENTS * 2 tablespoons butter * 1/2 cup honey * 2 eggs * 3/4 cup all-purpose flour * 1/2 teaspoon baking powder * 1 pinch salt * 1/2 cup chopped walnuts * 1/2 cup dates, pitted and chopped * 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar for decoration DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter an 8-inch square cake pan. 2. Melt the butter over low heat and pour into a large mixing bowl. Add the honey and eggs, and beat well. Mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix in the walnuts and dates. Spread batter in pan 3. Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until light brown. Let cool for 5 to 10 minutes. INGREDIENTS * 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour * 1/2 teaspoon ground walnuts * 1 teaspoon baking soda * 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice * 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon * 1/4 teaspoon salt * 1 cup honey * 1/2 cup shortening * 1/2 cup packed brown sugar * 2 eggs * 3 tablespoons milk * 1 cup raisins * 1 cup dried currants * 1 cup dates, pitted and chopped DIRECTIONS 1. Combine flour, walnuts, baking soda, allspice, cinnamon, and salt. 2. In small saucepan over low heat, melt shortening and honey, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and pour into large bowl. Stir in brown sugar, eggs and milk until well blended. Slowly add dry ingredients. Fold in raisins, currants and dates. Cover and chill for 4 hours. 3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. Drop by spoonfuls 2 inches apart on cookie sheets. 4. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, until lightly colored.

Baked Pears with Dried Cherries and Pecans Ingredients 4 pears, peeled and halved Juice of 1 1/2 lemons 1/4 cup dried cherries, coarsely chopped 1/4 cup pecans, coarsely chopped 1 Tablespoon plus 1/2 cup HONEY pinch ground gloves 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 cup dark rum or apple juice 4 whole cloves Directions Preheat oven to 375°. Remove core of each pear half with a melon ball cutter making a well in the center. Soak pears in a large bowl of cold water with the juice of ½ lemon while preparing the filling. In a small bowl, combine the dried cherries, pecans, 1 Tablespoon honey, ground cloves and cinnamon. Dry the pears with paper towels and arrange them cut-side up in a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Spoon filling mixture into the well of each pear half. Combine the remaining ½ cup honey, rum or apple juice, the juice of 1 lemon and the whole cloves. Pour this mixture around pears. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven, basting every 15 minutes with pan juices for 30-40 minutes, or until pears are tender. These pears are absolutely delicious I had them for Thanksgiving dinner! I don't know of any good recipes using honey. There is a very good recipe site that I use all the time and what is even better is that it is free and they have thousands of recipes for everything. Go to www.cooks.com , i hope this helps.

Well if you drink tea, you can always add a some honey to it, I do this and I reelly like it. Also add it to pancakes, waffles, bagles or biscuits. Peanut butter on a piece of bread with a layer of honey over the top is also very good. enjoy

I find that making a honey mustard dip for chicken strips, or even to dip hot pretzels in is one way to eat more honey. Just mix yellow mustard and honey to taste in a small bowl. I usually use more honey than mustard in my dip, but that is my personal preference. Some people also add honey to ketchup and a touch of worchester sause for another chicken dip. Try it, they are both simple to make in small amounts so you can see if you like the taste.
