A visit to Religious place on New Year Day....

For me its mandatory to visit temple. How many of you make sure to visit Religious places. A pious beginning to the New Year. Isn't it..

It is not mandatory on my part but i make it a point to go to the mosque on January 1st every year just for some extra prayers and wishes for the new year. Its more about the personal satisfaction of starting the year off in a religious manner so i can stay ethical and in the right direction rather than being astray on my beleifs.

Not a degrading world but rather jsut one where people forget where they come from and what they've grown up with. You may lose everything physically but your spirituality will always be there. Whether you choose to ackknowledge it is another story however.

I too visit temple almost on a daily basis. We have a place of worship at our home and i say my daily prayers regualarly. Infact i say my prayers before i have something to eat. I am a firm beliver of goddess durga. This suggestion of yours to remember god on this occasion is surely a great one and i hope more and more people would follow this.
