Im wondering if there are any other users with a congential heart problem and if so what? Also, if you are over 18/21 what do you do for seeing a cardiologist, since regular cardio doctors for adults are not educated in congential issues. And on a side note, did you ever attend a summer camp for fellow heart patients?

It's true that not many cardiologist are competent in this regard. It's shocking for we are so unaware and ignortant about the issue that the children are born with. I work with an ace cardiologist and am appalled to realise the state of people who donot even know about it in the least. We have been organising workshops to educate ppl, hoping to reach to common ppl more and more. However, common congenital problems have remedies through surgical intervention or interventional procedure, which, is a ray of hope. Iam sure by 2010 we will reach to newer inventions that would help ppl fight this. Thanks.

its just very unnerving. One day youre regularing visiting your pediatric cardiologist and the next your searching for an adult cardiologist and they seem to have less information on your condition than you do!
