Expired Meds would you take them?

It kinda goes back to the pack rat thing but my boyfriend has tons and tons of expired stuff around the house from before we got together. I will look at something and go this expired in 03 and he will go so it dont matter they just want you to buy a new one. It concerns me but he is grown so I wouldnt tell him what to do. I wont take the med though. I buy a new one. Ive only thrown away and replaced one of his which was a bottle of aspirin. I cant afford to do the others. What do you think?
