How do you come up with topics for Mylot?

Do you look around on the net or do you just post something thats on your mind or something that happened to you that day? I usually do a little of both or if im watching tv or something. Im finding it harder to post topics that people will really respond to. It seems that people on here respond more to simple posts vs lengthy detailed ones. I have seen posts such as , whats your fav color, and it will have 20 responses. What you do you think?
