Do You Have a Blog? What is it About?

Do you have a blog? If so what do you write about in it? I have been considering making one for a long time but I never seem to get around to it. I'm sure I could think of things to write on it each day if I really tried but I don't know if anyone would find what I have to say interesting or if I would just be wasteing my time when I should be focusing on money making endeavors with my internet time. I have heard of useing a blog to make money but from what I understand fo it to work for you you need to build a fan base, basically. That seems a little overwhelming to me. However it could be beneficial for advertising th other things that I do, such as make jewellery by hand and design t'shirts and stuff on Zazzle, etc. If you have a blog please tell me about, what topics do you write about? How did you build a reader base? What system did you build it on? Did you find setting up on the system that you use easy, and are there lots of options for layouts and themes available on the system? And finally, if I develope a blog, do you think that you would be interested in reading it?

My blog is about how I'm using online sites to get out of debt. I listed the amount I owe and have a ticker that tracks how much I pay off. I'm not doing it so much to make money just wanted a way to help me get more serious about being debt free. In my blog I list the sites I'm doing and how much I earn from the sites. I also list some money saving tips if I come across any. I don't have a reader base but I include my blog in signature lines for the online forums I participate in. Here it is if you want to take a peak http://debt-fighter.blogspot.com/

That is a very worthy cause to do anyhting I guess. Debt sucks. I hope you dig your way out. We are pretty far into ourselves. I don't think I would want to share that type of information with people but if it helps you, more power to ya.

My blog is related to the study and exam information.I have collect many useful datas and put them on my blog.I don't decorate my blog because I hope every visitor can easily find what they want.Too many pictures and adding background music is unuseful to a study blog.I dislike adding anything unhelpful on my blog.Every end of semester, there are so many users come to my blog.I hope the datas on my blog can help them pass their final exam.

I have 4 blogs. The first one is written in my native language - Tagalog, and it's about my experiences, and I try to make my posts funny. The design in nothing fancy, I just used the default template in tabulas. I don't have a fan base though, haha, just my friends. The second one is just a personal blog, I write anything I want. No fan base either but it's fine, my posts there are really cheesy anyway. The third one is my blog in friendster, so far, it has the highest hits (I think). It doesn't have a theme too, I just write whatever I feel like writing at the moment. I don't have problems with having readers since friendster is a big social network, all of my friends automatically gets an email whenever I updated my blog. The fourth one is just new, I just made it earlier. I want to document my experience in making money online. To see if I'll really benefit from this. http://hopingtomakemoneyonline.blogspot.com/

Oops, sorry, I forgot to answer your other questions. I think it'll be nice if you could have your own site. You could control the look and feel of you site more that way. I myself would love having a flash site (but I don't think flash is allowed in blogspot). Just look in download.com , there are loads of software there that can help you build your site. Do a couple of posts first, or wait till a month (so you will have a number of posts and your blog won't look too bare) to tell your friends about your blog. If they like what they read, it's likely that they will tell other people about your blog.

I have a blog that chronicles my life as a housewife and stay at home mom. I mainly feature cooking and baking because they are my passions and what I hope to do with my life after my child is in school. I also have a lot of organizing techniques and others things to do around the house. I belong to a few different foodie blogrolls as well as participate in my carnivals around the food blogworld. Both of those bring in a good amount of readers. I use Blogger for the simplicity of it. I haven't really tried any of the others and I don't plan to since Blogger offers everything I need in a blog. Maybe one day I'll move to my own website but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Good luck with your blog if you do decide to launch one. There's a space for everyone out there. :)

Thats probably the type of things that I would right about. I'm not a mom....well I'm a pet-parent...but I am a housewife and I do alot of cooking and baking as well. I also thought it might be intersting to put my daily thoughts on things or something like that.

I have a blog where I blog about trying to build a successful blog. As of right now it's fairly unknown. I'm starting from the ground up with it. I try to write about making money online, traffic building strategies. I'm basically using the blog to document my journey and attempt to make a living online, so at the end of the year, I can use it to see how far I came. I built it on wordpress. At first I used blogger.com, which is free. It's nice because if you ever want to transfer a blog from blogger to wordpress, wordpress makes it really easy to import all of your posts from your old blog to your new one. Setting up wordpress isn't horribly complicated, you have to install it into the right place and then if you want a new layout, there are tons to choose from. All you do is download it and then upload it to your blog. If you write about something that you are passionate about, or something you know well, I'm sure someone would be interested!

i have a blog on political and environmental issues. many people use the internet for research. i received emails thanking me for posting some of my works as a researcher. i also have personal writings. i think this variety of topics creates a traffic for my blog. i also signed-up with blog communities. however, i do not earn from my blog. i may change it to an earning blog.

I blog about my experiences in life. Sometimes I rant or rave about different things. I'm not really a good writer so my readers are just my friends. Hahaha.

I advise you not to start on blogger as many newbies do. You won't get any traffic probably. I advise you hubpages see my profile. I've made 60$ in december without even updating and promoting it. Now It has taken me months to build all the pages so I don't say it's no work at the beginning.
