Well, here I'm with a bad cold and feeling terrible because I'm so limited when I feel sick. I never get sick ,but when I do is terrible. Well, I have fever and a terrible congestion ,and is really cold outside. Anybody has any good homemade remedies for me? I hate to take over the counter prescriptions.

Ginger is said to help the upset stomach, in fact I use it now, while I am pregnant, and it seems to help, as long as you can get over the taste and smell. Good luck, and feel better soon!

Yes, black tea is a great idea. I'm okay now ,but I'll try the dried ginger with the black tea next time if I get a bad cold again.

Well, I hate to be sick too. Colds, cough and fever are usually common when the weather is cold. I seldom get sick too but when i have colds, I usually take decongestant tablets. If you dont like taking medicines, boiled ginger can help and inhalers. What I really dont like when I feel sick is, when it is accompanied by nausea and vomitting, my head is like spinning around and I can't get up. Hope you get well soon.

Well, I'm feeling better now ,but thank you for your suggestions. This time I guess I wasn't as lucky as previous years and I got a cold just like most people during the winter. Take care.
