So as many of you know I'm all for having fun, joking around, being cheeky etc etc but holy hell...Am I the only one who is SO bored with certain members arrogant, childish, over the top stupidity? Yea having a laugh is a great thing..hell have tons of them but seriously...like I say to my 14 yr/old KNOW WHEN ENOUGH IS ENOUGH...cause after 4 or 5 times its just NOT funny anymore! Add to that when said person walks the line between cheeky and downright rude I personally find it beyond annoying..Avoid and ignore is the key without a doubt but ppl like that whether online or off line just irritate the bloody hell out of me!

Just ignoring is the best way to handle a person like that.

Well I can think of one person in particular person making me feel that exact way. It was amusing to read at first but the a line was crossed. I really don't understand why people like that just continue when no one is really laughing with them any more and very few are even laughing at them. I agree that avoid and ignore is the key but it's just so hard sometimes when they really get under your skin about something.

if you are talking about someone here I think we are on the same page ;-) though I did miss the crossed line. I think I was reading after it was deleted.... Sad to say I know ppl like that in real life, or at least use to...now I dont give them the time of day..

The crossed line occurred on jeffery's response and it has been deleted. If you've read that person's latest discussion though things are much clearer as to his motive.

I'm with you Raven! I don't know exactly what you're talking about if you are talking about one particular thing - but on the whole I'm with you! There are a lot of them out there!! That's the main reason I just stick to my friends on here anymore.

Yup! I totally understand where you're coming from here! I enjoy being cheeky sometimes, but I also do my best to not be rude. So it frustrates me when people are continually rude to me despite the fact that I refuse to stoop to that level. Grrr. And yes, the childishness gets old. Some of the feuds and arguments I see on mylot remind me of elementary school. :P

I agree, there are lots of people who don't understand "enough is enough". Don't let it bother you, those people want you to rise to the bait.

I agree with you--some people don't know when to stop. Just ignore them and move on. Purple is my favourite colour, by the way!!! Here's to all purple lovers everywhere--onward and forward!!! Have a wonderful new year, Ravenladyj!

Hi Ravenladyj, I know just what you mean. If you are in the predicament of having a person like this as a coworker, it can almost cause you to go "postal", if it is in your home it can be a nightmare. It seems the easiest way to avoid a person like this is online. Online, you can ignore, be unseen, and avoid responding. Take Care.
