Who likes Garth Brooks?

I like Garth Brooks ~ The Dance & The Thunder Rolls are two of my fav songs. I don't keep up on the country news ~ so I didn't know that he retired LOL. Maybe one day he will return. ~Remember to give out +'s when it's deserved & select best responses. It helps us all out ;-]

I love Garth Brooks hopefully he will come out of retirement soon.

Garth has said (according to various interviews I've read) that he wants to stay home with his family will not consider coming out of retirement until his youngest daughter (b. 1996) goes to college. So we have a good decade to wait between now and then (if it happens). As for now, he is still keeping involved doing a small performance here and there, and doing work for various charities (including his own charity, Touch 'Em All Foundation) and even trained with the Kansas City Royals baseball team several years ago. But as far as touring and making new albums go, he's pretty much finished with that at least until his daughters are in college. I think there is a section on his website (garthbrooks.com) where a fan asked him this same question and the answer he gave the fan was somewhere along those lines - that he'd made a promise to his family and was sticking to it.

I wish he would hurry up and come out of retiremet soon. I love him so much.
