No, I'm not. My country has become morally deficient and the current political system is not serving the people. Unfortunately, there is little hope that this will ever change, due to many factors too tedious to mention. I feel less and less a citizen of my own country each passing year and feel that I must consider other alternatives.

Hi nengs10, It is not necessary that one should join in their country's military to give their life to the country.It is only a slogan to attract youngsters to come in to military. Even if you are interested and go there to join, only few will get in to it. This doesn,t mean that others are not willing to die for his country. In fact everybody is dieing for their country only, whether they are in military or civilian, once they complete their responsibilities they are good civilians to that country. Good Luck.
