US Elections ( Total ignorance )

Right now, it is a mess. We are at the very beginning of picking one democrat & one republican, who will be voted on in Nov of 08, to start a new government. There are still 4 or 5 on each camp, & the first pre-election has just taken place. It give the voters of one state to start to narrow down the field. A few from one group have already dropped out. I personally hope it is a democrat who wins, as we have had quite enough of the current republican in office. But, we will see who is left at the end of the primaries, when the voting parties choose their candidate, to run for election in November. Ask again in June or July, I think all the primaries will be done by then! Then we will know who is actually running, & have a better idea who will win! Thanks for asking!
